Talk about bringing down the roof!  Amber and Andy had rented a massive out door tent to cover all of their guests / dance floor / and food, but God had another plan.  The rain and wind damaged the tent, forcing them to have to relocate only a couple hours before the beginning of their reception.  Under the competent leadership of their wedding planner Ginibeth Henderson (GiniBeths Weddings and More) and with the help of her family and friends, they were able to turn the Golf Cart Garage into an impromptu wedding venue.

Most brides would have lost it, but Amber was truly graceful, taking everything in stride.  She was the life of the dance floor later and their guests had an incredible time!

Was it perfect?  No, but it was amazing to see so many people working together to make Amber and Andy’s reception something to remember!  It’s a reception that I won’t ever forget and under any circumstances, this reception would be considered a total success, but with everything that went on … this is a reception that will go down as EPIC!

Bethany and William had the best party in all of Highlands County for their reception.  The roof was raised at Chateau Elan in Sebring Florida on February 26, 2011 as the new Mr. and Mrs. Saures with their wedding party brought the Pain Train Handlebars into action.  This reception was a blast!  We got to work with Delaney Photography and Storybook Weddings, two of our favorite vendors.  The dance floor was packed all night long!  You’ve got to check out the video at the bottom of the page.

Bethany and Williams package was our Entertainment Coordinator Package, small LED Dance Floor Lighting, and our Video Screen option for their slide show.

I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Scott and Shawna Whitener’s wedding reception at the Admirals Inn in Winter Haven FL on February 27, 2010.  Shawna and Scott might have been the most laid back clients I’ve ever worked with.  They put their total trust into my hands to do whatever I wanted with their reception.  All I received as requests from them were the 1st dance song and both parents dance songs.  Lots of responsibility, but I enjoyed the creative control

The reception went fantastic!  The guests had a great time and I even offered Scott a job if he’s ever interested (he did the best Groom thank you / introduction of his own bridal party that I’ve ever seen, I wish I would have taped it!).  Check out the photos and video, I truly enjoyed being their DJ / Master of Ceremonies and it’s always a joy to work with the staff at the Admirals Inn.  I also had the opportunity to work with Donna from Everlasting Memories Photography, very nice to work with and extremely professional!

Incredible couple … amazing ceremony and reception! I got to perform for one of our own DJs here at A Premier Entertainment, Mr. Josh Fain and his lovely bride Kelly. The got married (and held their reception) at Crystal River Church of God in Crystal River Florida. They had about 150 of their closest family and friends there to celebrate with them. It was a magical evening and I was absolutely honored to be a part of it! The gym area of the church was decorated whimsically with Christmas lights, the food was delicious, and the guests had a wonderful time hamming it up for the photobooth (Snap Yourself Silly Photobooths – 863-324-7333).  When we got to the dancing, it was off the chain!!!  Josh was the perfect groom, on the dance floor and leading the party.  I had so much fun, it was such a blast!

A Premier Entertainment was well represented at Sarah and Aaron Whitaker’s wedding reception as myself, DJ Kyle Davis, and my wife Christina had the pleasure of working with this great couple and their family.  We not only got to provide the entertainment for the reception, we also brought a small light show and our newest, coolest enhancement … Oh Snap! This past weekend Arnoldo and I had the pleasure of working with Matt and Kali Morgan for their wedding reception.  They held it at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club in Lakeland Florida (if you have read any of my past blogs, you know that I love Eaglebrooke!  It’s such an amazing site and the staff is excellent.)

Matt and Kali were looking for something different.  They wanted a very elegant, cocktail style reception where the focus was on the guests mingling rather then on dancing.  We played lots of crooner style music (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Buble) mixed in with some country and motown.  If the guests danced, it was a bonus as long as it was in that style.  We did have some dancers (you know there are hard core dancers at every reception, God love em’), but for the most part it was everything that Kali and Matt wanted and hoped for.  I was excited to be able to deliver for them as they are both wonderful people!

Funny side note, Matt’s brother Kyle (the best man) was in my office just 2 days earlier with his lovely fiance Elizabeth.  They booked our services for a reception in 2010, but oddly Matt and Kyle never spoke so neither knew that our company would be entertaining both receptions.  It’s a small world indeed!

What a wonderful couple, Sara and Bobby were so easy to work!  It was a gorgeous Florida fall night, the food was excellent, and when we got to dancing, this crowd was lots of fun!  This was A Premier Entertainment’s 1st time peforming at the Grant Bly House in Deland Florida.  I was glad that I got to be the DJ, not only were Sara and Bobby super cool awesome, but Debbie and the crew at the Grant Bly House were so easy to work with!  Sara’s dad officiated the ceremony and did an excellent job!  So many personal touches by the bride and the groom ranging from a slides show (we provided the LCD TV to show the slide show) to the trivia questions left on each table for the guest to play during dinner.

Just got back from Brian and Erica Rabeau’s reception at the Rusty Pelican this past Saturday night.  The place was decorated to the 9′s and we added to the decor with our uplighitng, monogram lighting, and dance floor lighting.  It looked amazing!  We got to work with Jenny from KC Photography and it’s always a pleasure, can’t wait to see her photos!!!  The staff at the Rusty Pelican was wonderful to work with, I had been in contact with Don and have nothing but great things to say about him.  They turned the room over in a blink of an eye and helped my crew and I make things look fantastic!

We set up a photo slide show with remote sound in their cocktail room and then when it was time for the reception to begin, all the guest came over to the Grand Ballroom where we were set up.  After the introduction we were served dinner (the food was excellent) and all the formalities happened after dinner.  Once we opened the dance floor though, the party went into overdrive.  So many fun people, we had a blast!  I had Jonah and Amanda from my company with me and they did a great job as always!

Oh What a Night!  I had the honor of being the DJ for Laura and Clayton Carter at the Kenilworth Lodge in Sebring Florida on September 18, 2009.  They choose Gini Beth Henderson from Gini Beth’s Weddings and More as their wedding coordinator and let me tell you, she did an amazing job!  I’ve worked with Gini Beth several times and she is such a pleasure to work with. Every detail was perfect and it makes my job so much easier when I can focus on entertaining … thanks Gini Beth!  They had Ellie Kurz from Kurz Photography (our company has worked with Ellie before, but this was my 1st time) and she was wonderful to work with as well.

The room was jam packed with friends and family.  The food was delicious and right after dinner they cut and served their cake which was also delicious.  After the formalities we opened up the dance floor and it stayed packed all night long.  I had so much fun at this wedding … check out the video below all the photos to see just how awesome a night this was.  Please remember to leave positive comments for feedback … and as always, enjoy! The New Mr. and Mrs. Bennett!

We were given the opportunity to DJ for Mark and Rhonda Bennett’s wedding reception.  Mark and Rhonda are such nice people and their family and friends came out to celebrate with them for a brunch reception.  They held everything (ceremony and reception) at the Holiday Inn on North 98 in Lakeland.  The room was decorated very nicely and things went very smooth (with the exception of the Omelette station, which was a hit, but they only had two pans going so it did bottleneck the line, but well worth the wait).  KC Photography handled capturing all their important moments.
