Christmas party,
corporate

This was my second time working with the Lakeland Cancer Center (our company has been doing their Christmas party for the last 5 years). These are such great and caring people, it is truly a privledge to work with them for a celebration. This year they held their party at the Hilton Garden Inn in South Lakeland on December 12, 2009. The facility if beautiful and the staff it top notch! Everything looked perfect (and the food was mmm mmmm good, lol).
As for my set up, they got a great package, we had video and lighting and it definitely enhanced the atmosphere. All of the photos I was taking at the party went right up to our screen and we played some music videos for the more popular dance songs. The light show covered the entire room and added to the festivities. Some of the dancing highlights were the YMCA, the Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Ain’t Too Proud to Beg (4 of the Drs. came up and did their best Motown group impression). Great time with an awesome group of people. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get to work with them again next year.
As per their request, there is only photos from this party, no video. I wish them and all of my readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Enjoy the photos

What a wonderful couple, Sara and Bobby were so easy to work! It was a gorgeous Florida fall night, the food was excellent, and when we got to dancing, this crowd was lots of fun! This was A Premier Entertainment’s 1st time peforming at the Grant Bly House in Deland Florida. I was glad that I got to be the DJ, not only were Sara and Bobby super cool awesome, but Debbie and the crew at the Grant Bly House were so easy to work with! Sara’s dad officiated the ceremony and did an excellent job! So many personal touches by the bride and the groom ranging from a slides show (we provided the LCD TV to show the slide show) to the trivia questions left on each table for the guest to play during dinner.
Some of the highlights:
- 1st Dance: When You Say Nothing at All by Keith Whitley
- Parents Dances: I Loved Her 1st by Heartland and Perfect Fan by Backstreet Boys
- Cake Cutting: How Sweet It Is by Marvin Gaye
- Last Dance: Waiting On A Woman by Brad Paisley
I would also like to thank both Sara and Bobby for their service to our Armed Forces. It’s wonderful people like these two that defend our great nation and pay the price for our Freedom. I appreciate them and what they do so unselfishly for me and those I love. Thank you!

Just got back from Brian and Erica Rabeau’s reception at the Rusty Pelican this past Saturday night. The place was decorated to the 9’s and we added to the decor with our uplighitng, monogram lighting, and dance floor lighting. It looked amazing! We got to work with Jenny from KC Photography and it’s always a pleasure, can’t wait to see her photos!!! The staff at the Rusty Pelican was wonderful to work with, I had been in contact with Don and have nothing but great things to say about him. They turned the room over in a blink of an eye and helped my crew and I make things look fantastic!
We set up a photo slide show with remote sound in their cocktail room and then when it was time for the reception to begin, all the guest came over to the Grand Ballroom where we were set up. After the introduction we were served dinner (the food was excellent) and all the formalities happened after dinner. Once we opened the dance floor though, the party went into overdrive. So many fun people, we had a blast! I had Jonah and Amanda from my company with me and they did a great job as always!
Some of the highlights of the evening:
1st Dance: At Last
Center Piece Give Away: Yakety Sax
Introduction: 20th Century Fox and 2001 Space Odyssey
Last Dance: It’s Your Love
I truly enjoyed getting to know Brian and Erica. They are such special people and I know they are going to have an amazing life together. Hope to get asked back for their 25th wedding anniversary party :) Check out the photos and video below. Please remember to leave positive comments …. and as always, enjoy! I’m so blessed! Getting to work with couples like Jim and Kristen just drives that point home, I can’t believe that I get to celebrate week in and week out with so many awesome people. Jim and Kristen had their ceremony and reception at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club in Lakeland Florida on July 18, 2009. A Premier Entertainment was secured to provide sound for the ceremony and entertainment for the reception. Jim and Kristen asked for me personally to be their entertainer and I was honored to be a part of their special day! I also got to work again with photographer Tina Sargeant from Sargeant Studios. Tina is awesome to work with and her photos are amazing … check out her blog (click here), can’t wait to see her photos of Jim and Kristen!
If there was any concern I had before this day, it was the weather. We’ve been getting rain here almost everyday and the clouds were rolling in during their ceremony. It held off until after they got their photos done (see the rain coming down in buckets at the beginning of the video, it even knocked out the power for a second). The day couldn’t have gone any better!
They choose the following for their package:
- Entertainment Coordinator Package
- Uplighting
- D’Elegance Dance Floor lighting package
- Dancing Under The Stars Lighting effect
- Video Slide Show (we used the 40″ LCD Screen on a stick of truss instead of the 5×7 video screen w/ projector because of space and for effect)
- Basic Ceremony Package
Here are some of their highlights:
- Introduction: Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (parents), Smooth (Bridal Party), Balada Para Adelina (Love Story), Party Up! for Jim and Kristen
- First Dance: Lost In This Moment by Big & Rich
- Parent Dances: It Won’t Be This Way For Long by Darius Rucker (Kristen’s dance with her dad), Song for Mama by Boyz II Men (Jim’s Dance with his mom)
- Cake: Sugar Sugar and How Sweet It Is
- Bouquet and Garter: Mission Impossible - Eye of the Tiger - I’m Too Sexy - Single Ladies - Girl Fight - Switch - (Dude) Looks Like A Lady
- Last Dance: At Last by Beyonce

Leaving the Ceremony to begin their lives together!
Kevin and Jessica are awesome! When we did our 1st meeting I knew this would be an reception that I was going to really enjoy. They had their ceremony and reception at Leu Gardens and both the gardens and the facility are beautiful. They had Puff n Stuff as their caterer (they did an awesome job, food was great and the presentation was perfect!). KC Enterprises Photography was their photographers (Christina and Jenny are the absolute best, but I’m sure I’m being biased as they work with us all the time). Arlene Blake from Designs by Cornelia as their coordinator (Arlene is amazing, she was running around making sure everything was perfect for Kevin and Jessica. Couldn’t ask for a better coordinator to work with, thanks Arlene). This was such a great team to work with, everything went off without a hitch.
It was a little cool for the ceremony, but overall they couldn’t have asked for better weather. The ceremony went off perfectly and then when the guest arrived at the reception, Arnoldo and I kept them entertained for the duration of the reception. Some of the highlights: The Time Warp, Kevin and Jessica singing With a Little Help From My Friends, and the group effort on Gin and Juice. This is a reception that I will never forget! Check out the videos at the bottom of the photos, there are 2 (the pretty one is Arnoldo’s, but I had some footage he didn’t so that is why there is 2).
