Every now and then we get to work with a Dream Team staff of vendors. You know, people you’d hand pick if you were having a wedding. Sarah and Paul built such a team for their wedding reception on June 18, 2011 at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club. Eaglebrooke is one of the top facilities in all of central Florida with Beth Primmer and her staff kicking butt and taking names. We got to work with Tim Hicklin from Storybook Weddings (one of my personal friends and amazing videographer). They hired Deana Brower from Sassy Soiree as their coordinator and Kelly Day of Kelly Day Photography. And to top it off, I tag teamed this one with Arnoldo again. This was an incredible assembly of vendors, but we were no match for Sarah / Paul / and their guests. It was such an awesome reception, non-stop action once we got to the dancing portion of the evening. And with the lighting we provided, Eaglebrooke looked even more amazing then usual.
Paul and Sarah got our Entertainment Coordinator Package and our D’Elegance Lighting Package.
Some of their musical highlights:
Grand Intro: All You Need Is Love by The Beatles
1st Dance: Love Never Fails by Brandon Heath
Father / Daughter Dance: Daddy’s Little Girl by Michael Buble’
Last Dance: Marry Me by Train

I love working at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club in Lakeland FL. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a poor experience there and Joleen and Nick Yunker’s Wedding Reception on March 26. 2011 was no exception. They were such a sweet couple and the group of family and friends they invited to the wedding were great to work with. It was a wonderful evening, I’m so very blessed to have so many awesome clients!
It was also great to work with on of my photographer friends, Alex Gilliard of Alex Gilliard Photography. Here is his blog from Nick and Joleen’s Wedding. Always great working with him!
The package that they choose was our Entertainment Coordinator Package and our TV Slide Show Package.
Some of their musical highlights:
Grand Intro: Bittersweet Symphony
1st Dance: All The Way by Frank Sinatra
Groom – Mom Dance: All To You by DJ Keo
Last Dance – Save The Last Dance For Me by The Drifters

Jenn and Brian are such a great couple, if only I could get Brian to like the Buc’s instead of the Dolphins
… seriously though, this couple was wonderful and I was so happy to be a part of their celebration. The had some last minute shuffling of venues and ended up at the Music Ranch in Lakeland. The venue is better suited for a small concert then a wedding reception, but with a little uplighting and great attitude, the place worked great! We did the ceremony outside and the reception on the inside. Once we got to dancing, the floor stayed packed until the very end (actually past the end as we I did an extra set because I was having so much fun).
Their package was the Entertainment Coordinator, ceremony, uplighting, and a small LED Dance Floor Light Show.
Some musical highlights:
Intro: I Gotta Feeling by BEP
1st Dance: When You’ve Got a Good Thing by Lady Antabellum
Last Dance: The Time (Dirty Bit) by BEP

Shana and Brandon had one of the coolest wedding receptions I’ve ever been a part of. Not only did their lighting package look amazing at The Castle – Holiday Inn Orlando Resort, but how often does the King come to your reception? Yes, Elvis was in attendance and he honored the couple with several of his greatest hits. When we got to the dancing portion of the reception, their choice in music was awesome! Check out the video to see for yourself
Their package included: Ceremony / D’Elegance Lighting (uplights, monogram, dance floor lighting).
Some musical highlights:
1st Dance: All My Life by K-ci and Jojo
Cake Cutting: Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard
Last Dance: Don’t Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith

John and Jenna’s wedding reception was the perfect balance between elegant and fun! The Lakeland Yacht Club is one of those facilities that just screams old money and with the uplighting and decor you wouldn’t have been surprised to see the high society types, but it was also playful and fun. So many cool touches, you would have needed to be there to truly appreciate just how cool it really was. Once we got to dancing, it was lots of current hits meshed to family favorites (like the Chicken Dance). I’m very thankful that I was part of their special day, it was truly a pleasure!!!
Some of their musical highlights:
- 1st Dance: Love Never Fails by Brandon Heath
- Father / Bride: Daddy’s Little Girl by Michael Buble
- Groom / Mother: In My Life by The Beatles
- Cake Cutting: Love and Marriage and How Sweet It Is
- Last Dance: You and I by Michael Buble

Larae and Robert were great to work with! When we did our final consult, basically what I was told is that they want their guests to have a great time. Robert wanted lots of country songs that were good ole party favorites. Larae wanted fun dance music. We meshed the two together for a tremendous party!
The Sorosis building was decorated fabulously and Terri Lobb Catering did a fantastic job as always. The monogram and lighting were a nice touch to everything else that Larae and Robert selected. I truly enjoyed working with them and their family!
Some muscial highlights …
- Intro Song: Let’s Go (Instrumental) by Trick Daddy
- 1st Dance: I Cross My Heart by George Strait
- Cake Cutting: Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd
- Father/Bride: Stealing Cinderella by Chuck Hicks
- Groom/Mother: Simple Man by Lynard Skynard
- Anniversary Dance: Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban
- Last Dance: Fit to be Tied by Sammy Kershaw
On to the photos and video! Check them out, leave me a comment on my blog and as always … enjoy!

Alexandra and Miguel are such an incredible couple! I knew we were going to be a perfect fit from the 1st time I met with them. The were looking for something outside the box and that is exactly what we delivered. It was a small, intimate reception at The Grand Bohemian Hotel. Everything looked gorgeous from the decorations to the bride. We had so much fun, I was asked to do a live mix of Alexandra’s favorite Madonna songs, played everything from Marilyn Manson to Stero MC’s. Also got to use our new LED Starballs, they are what gives the mirror ball effect. Some of the musical highlights:
Introduction: Born To Be My Baby (Accoustic Version) by Bon Jovi
1st Dance: My Baby You by Marc Anthony
Father / Daugher Dance: Morena Ven by Oscar de Leon
Last Dance: Black Velvet by Alannah Myles

I truly enjoyed getting to work with Danielle and Jason Greb, they are the kind of couple that makes what I do so enjoyable! I love working with couples that are so into each other and Danielle and Jason were exactly that. Everytime I looked over at them they were touching, giggling, and carrying on like a newlywed couple should.
They held their reception at the Terrace Hotel in Downtown Lakeland FL. I’ve worked at the Terrace many times through the years, but it had been a while since I had been there last. They have a new staff working the banquets and they were top notch! The room looked beautiful and everything ran like a well oiled machine. Danielle and Jason added lots of personal touches that made the reception uniquely theirs.
Some of the musical highlights:
- 1st Dance – Let It Be Me by Ray Lamontange
- Introduction – I’ve Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas
- Bouquet and Garter – Pink Panther, Single Ladies, Wishin’ and Hopin’, Theme to Rocky, Another One Bites the Dust
For a daytime reception, this one was outstanding! Check out the photos (click on the thumbnail to see a larger photo) and video below, please please leave positive feed back, and as always … enjoy!

Christmas party,
corporate

I was at the Admirals Inn in Winter Haven on December 11, 2009 to perform for the staff at Dundee Elementary School’s Christmas party. This is a client that we have had the pleasure of working with for the last 3 years (my 1st time, Arnoldo was their DJ the previous 2 years). This was a small group (less then 50 people), but they were lots of fun! We did several of the fun participation dances like; Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle and they all went over great! It’s always great to get to work with the staff at Admirals Inn as well, they do such a great job!
Check out the photos and video below and please leave positive comments! Merry Christmas and enjoy …

This past weekend Arnoldo and I had the pleasure of working with Matt and Kali Morgan for their wedding reception. They held it at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club in Lakeland Florida (if you have read any of my past blogs, you know that I love Eaglebrooke! It’s such an amazing site and the staff is excellent.)
Matt and Kali were looking for something different. They wanted a very elegant, cocktail style reception where the focus was on the guests mingling rather then on dancing. We played lots of crooner style music (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Buble) mixed in with some country and motown. If the guests danced, it was a bonus as long as it was in that style. We did have some dancers (you know there are hard core dancers at every reception, God love em’), but for the most part it was everything that Kali and Matt wanted and hoped for. I was excited to be able to deliver for them as they are both wonderful people!
Funny side note, Matt’s brother Kyle (the best man) was in my office just 2 days earlier with his lovely fiance Elizabeth. They booked our services for a reception in 2010, but oddly Matt and Kyle never spoke so neither knew that our company would be entertaining both receptions. It’s a small world indeed!
