This past weekend Arnoldo and I had the pleasure of working with Matt and Kali Morgan for their wedding reception. They held it at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club in Lakeland Florida (if you have read any of my past blogs, you know that I love Eaglebrooke! It’s such an amazing site and the staff is excellent.)
Matt and Kali were looking for something different. They wanted a very elegant, cocktail style reception where the focus was on the guests mingling rather then on dancing. We played lots of crooner style music (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Buble) mixed in with some country and motown. If the guests danced, it was a bonus as long as it was in that style. We did have some dancers (you know there are hard core dancers at every reception, God love em’), but for the most part it was everything that Kali and Matt wanted and hoped for. I was excited to be able to deliver for them as they are both wonderful people!
Funny side note, Matt’s brother Kyle (the best man) was in my office just 2 days earlier with his lovely fiance Elizabeth. They booked our services for a reception in 2010, but oddly Matt and Kyle never spoke so neither knew that our company would be entertaining both receptions. It’s a small world indeed!

What a wonderful couple, Sara and Bobby were so easy to work! It was a gorgeous Florida fall night, the food was excellent, and when we got to dancing, this crowd was lots of fun! This was A Premier Entertainment’s 1st time peforming at the Grant Bly House in Deland Florida. I was glad that I got to be the DJ, not only were Sara and Bobby super cool awesome, but Debbie and the crew at the Grant Bly House were so easy to work with! Sara’s dad officiated the ceremony and did an excellent job! So many personal touches by the bride and the groom ranging from a slides show (we provided the LCD TV to show the slide show) to the trivia questions left on each table for the guest to play during dinner.
Some of the highlights:
- 1st Dance: When You Say Nothing at All by Keith Whitley
- Parents Dances: I Loved Her 1st by Heartland and Perfect Fan by Backstreet Boys
- Cake Cutting: How Sweet It Is by Marvin Gaye
- Last Dance: Waiting On A Woman by Brad Paisley
I would also like to thank both Sara and Bobby for their service to our Armed Forces. It’s wonderful people like these two that defend our great nation and pay the price for our Freedom. I appreciate them and what they do so unselfishly for me and those I love. Thank you!

Oh What a Night! I had the honor of being the DJ for Laura and Clayton Carter at the Kenilworth Lodge in Sebring Florida on September 18, 2009. They choose Gini Beth Henderson from Gini Beth’s Weddings and More as their wedding coordinator and let me tell you, she did an amazing job! I’ve worked with Gini Beth several times and she is such a pleasure to work with. Every detail was perfect and it makes my job so much easier when I can focus on entertaining … thanks Gini Beth! They had Ellie Kurz from Kurz Photography (our company has worked with Ellie before, but this was my 1st time) and she was wonderful to work with as well.
The room was jam packed with friends and family. The food was delicious and right after dinner they cut and served their cake which was also delicious. After the formalities we opened up the dance floor and it stayed packed all night long. I had so much fun at this wedding … check out the video below all the photos to see just how awesome a night this was. Please remember to leave positive comments for feedback

I’m so blessed! Getting to work with couples like Jim and Kristen just drives that point home, I can’t believe that I get to celebrate week in and week out with so many awesome people. Jim and Kristen had their ceremony and reception at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club in Lakeland Florida on July 18, 2009. A Premier Entertainment was secured to provide sound for the ceremony and entertainment for the reception. Jim and Kristen asked for me personally to be their entertainer and I was honored to be a part of their special day! I also got to work again with photographer Tina Sargeant from Sargeant Studios. Tina is awesome to work with and her photos are amazing … check out her blog (click here), can’t wait to see her photos of Jim and Kristen!
If there was any concern I had before this day, it was the weather. We’ve been getting rain here almost everyday and the clouds were rolling in during their ceremony. It held off until after they got their photos done (see the rain coming down in buckets at the beginning of the video, it even knocked out the power for a second). The day couldn’t have gone any better!
They choose the following for their package:
- Entertainment Coordinator Package
- Uplighting
- D’Elegance Dance Floor lighting package
- Dancing Under The Stars Lighting effect
- Video Slide Show (we used the 40″ LCD Screen on a stick of truss instead of the 5×7 video screen w/ projector because of space and for effect)
- Basic Ceremony Package
Here are some of their highlights:
- Introduction: Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (parents), Smooth (Bridal Party), Balada Para Adelina (Love Story), Party Up! for Jim and Kristen
- First Dance: Lost In This Moment by Big & Rich
- Parent Dances: It Won’t Be This Way For Long by Darius Rucker (Kristen’s dance with her dad), Song for Mama by Boyz II Men (Jim’s Dance with his mom)
- Cake: Sugar Sugar and How Sweet It Is
- Bouquet and Garter: Mission Impossible – Eye of the Tiger – I’m Too Sexy – Single Ladies – Girl Fight – Switch – (Dude) Looks Like A Lady
- Last Dance: At Last by Beyonce

Tony and Melissa's 1st Dance!
Spent my July 4th seeing fireworks of another kind, the kind you only see between two people that are really in love. That was the case for Tony and Melissa Lobozzo. They held their reception at Eaglebrooke Golf and Country Club in Lakeland Florida and it was beautifully decorated. Eaglebrooke is one of the premier venues in all of Central FL and as always the food and service was incredible! The personal touches that Tony and Melissa did for their guests were incredible, from the personal notes on everyone’s place cards to the bible verses on the sweet tarts, it was uniquely them.
I was asked to play contemporary Christian music for guest arriving and dinner music. It was well received by the Lobozzo’s guests. Many of them complimented us on the selections and we even had a couple of the youth perform a dance to one of the songs they use in their youth worship, very cool! Their photographer for the day was Jenny from KC Photography and it’s always a pleasure to work with one of our own! Jenny did a great job and you’ll have to check out the photos when they get them up on their blog (KC BLOG).
Your going to have to watch the video to see just how much fun we had at this reception, the only thing that could have made it better is if we could have kept going! Here are some of the highlights from the reception:
Intro: Get Ready for This and Peter Gunn Theme
First Dance: I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman
Father / Daughter Dance: Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman
Mother / Son Dance: Song For My Song by Mikki Vereck
Cake Cutting: Love and Marriage by Sinatra and How Sweet It Is by Marvin Gaye
Bouquet and Garter: Pink Panther / Rocky / Another One Bites The Dust / Single Ladies / Monday Night Football Theme
Last Dance: She’s Everything by Brad Paisley
Grand Exit: Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye by Steam

It was like they were the only 2 people in the room!
Londann and Jeremy Andrews were so wonderful to work with. They are great people and I was honored to be part of their celebration. They had their wedding reception at the Garden Ballroom in Winter Haven. The Gardenball room is a beautiful location and they had it decorated exquisitely. Because Londann and Jeremy are such incredible people, the ballroom was packed! They had so many guests that getting around to the tables to invite them to the buffet was a challenge, but I managed, lol. If there was any drawback to the day, it would have been that they were running late to the reception which pushed things back a little (with this crowd I hated to take away any of the dance time because they are so much fun). We did manage to get back most of the time we lost and when we opened up the dance floor, it was classic Merrick family fun! It was also great to get to meet and entertain for the Andrews, they are going to be a perfect addition to the Merrick clan. Can’t wait for the next celebration!
Some of the highlights from the reception:
- Introductions: Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts for the parents and bridal party, Welcome to the Family by Little Big town for Londann and Jeremy
- First Dance: Then by Brad Paisley (this was a surprise from Jeremy to Londann)
- Parents Dances: My Little Girl by Tim McGraw for Londann and Dale. Song for Mama by Boyz II Men for Jeremy and Patti
- Cake Cutting: I Thought I’d Seen Everything by Bryan Adams
- Bouquet and Garter: Bad Boys by Inner Circle for Removal and Garter Toss. American Woman for Bouquet toss.
- Last Dance: This Kind of Love by Sister Hazel
- Grand Exit: All I Ever Wanted by Chuck Hicks
Deserving much credit is Debbie O’Kelley (Regina’s – Mother of the Bride – Sister in Law) for doing an amazing job with the catering. The food was delicious!
Also, this was my 1st time working with Tammy Koukoulis from Soleil Photography. She and her staff were wonderful to work with, I look forward to seeing Londann and Jeremy’s photos up on her blog and you can check them out too (http://tammykoukoulis.wordpress.com/).
In the mean time, you can enjoy the photos and video I took … click the more button to see the photos and video from the reception. As always, please leave positive feed back on my blog, thanks and enjoy …

Wow! This wedding was so awesome for so many reasons. Don’t get me wrong, all of the weddings we have done are amazing in one way or another, but Elizabeth and Jeremy’s is definitely one that I won’t ever forget. I’ve worked at Cypresswoods Golf and Country Club many times in the past (wonderful staff and facility I might add), but with the help of their wedding coordinator Ashly (
http://www.olivierevents.com) they transformed the room into something magical (with the help of our uplighting, you need to check out the before and after pictures below). In fact, this wedding reception broke our record for the most up lights used in at any event (32 up lights in the dinning room and 12 LED up lights in the tent where they had their dance floor).
Everything was 1st class for this wedding from the decor to the other vendors we had the opportunity to work with including:
Videography – Kevin Brewer of Brewer Photography and Video (http://www.brewerphotovideo.com)
Photography – Michael Potthast of Potthast Studios (http://www.potthaststudios.com)
Venue – Cypresswood Golf and Country Club – Bob Schade (http://www.cypresswoodcc.com)
It was also wonderful to work with A Premier Entertainments own Arnoldo Offermann. I was only the MC for this reception while Arnoldo kept the dance floor packed. Also all of the light shows you will see in the video from our LED uplights were programed by run by Arnoldo, he is da bomb!
Some of the reception highlights:
- 1st Dance to Then by Brad Paisley
- Elizabeth and her dad danced to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw
- Jeremy and his mom dance to The Wedding Coat (can’t remember the artist … inside joke, lol)
- Grand Entrance for Bridal Party to Sirus by Alan Parson’s Project, Elizabeth and Jeremy to Florida Gators Fight Song
- Cake Cutting to How Sweet It Is by James Taylor
- Garter removed to Let’s Get It On by Marvin Gaye
- Bridal Party Dance to Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks
- Last Dance to She’s Everything by Brad Paisley
I don’t normally include as my photos as you will see below, but there were so many great personal touches as well as great photo opportunities, I couldn’t help myself. Please click the more button to see them and the video … Enjoy!

A Premier Entertainment DJ DJs DJs and KC Enterprises Photography Photographers for Wedding and Reception.
We truly enjoyed meeting so many wonderful brides at the PC Bridal Exhibit and Market Place on March 1st, 2009. I took a couple photos and some video from the show. I was told there were over 300 brides in attendance. Our company provided the stage lighting, the sound for the stage, sound for the seminar room, and the monogram that was above the seminar room.
Also, I got the opportunity to share with my very own seminar … Tips to an Awesome Reception. All in all, it was a wonderful day. I look forward to meeting with many of the brides that signed up for a consult at our booth. Enjoy the photos (Check back for a video soon)!

Here are some photos of our newest lighting effect. This fixture is great for any event that wants lots of energy on the dance floor and the location will allow haze. Unbelievable and Amazing is the only way to describe this fixture. All of these photos were taken inside of my home, so imagine how incredible this will look at a larger location. I haven’t been this excited about a lighting fixture ever! Don’t forget to check out the video at the bottom of this post. Enjoy!

1st United Methodist of Oviedo Valentine's Day Dance 2009
I had the pleasure to work with the wonderful people of 1st United Methodist Church of Oviedo on Valentine’s Day. This was a fund raising dance / auction for the the youth group. They are using all the money made for there mission trip. As a Christian 1st and as a DJ this was truly a blessing to be a small part of helping them spread the Gospel. I look forward to being asked back again next year and to hear of their good works. Here are some photos from their dance and a quick video at the very bottom. Enjoy!
