I truly enjoyed getting to work with Danielle and Jason Greb, they are the kind of couple that makes what I do so enjoyable!  I love working with couples that are so into each other and Danielle and Jason were exactly that.  Everytime I looked over at them they were touching, giggling, and carrying on like a newlywed couple should.

They held their reception at the Terrace Hotel in Downtown Lakeland FL.  I’ve worked at the Terrace many times through the years, but it had been a while since I had been there last.  They have a new staff working the banquets and they were top notch!  The room looked beautiful and everything ran like a well oiled machine.  Danielle and Jason added lots of personal touches that made the reception uniquely theirs.

Sun N Lake Golf Club in Sebring Florida is one of Highland Counties best kept secrets. This is the 2nd time I’ve had the pleasure of working at their new facility and it’s beautiful! The staff is friendly and attentive and the membership is a blast to DJ for. It was a non-stop dance party and these people know how to party! I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Scott and Shawna Whitener’s wedding reception at the Admirals Inn in Winter Haven FL on February 27, 2010.  Shawna and Scott might have been the most laid back clients I’ve ever worked with.  They put their total trust into my hands to do whatever I wanted with their reception.  All I received as requests from them were the 1st dance song and both parents dance songs.  Lots of responsibility, but I enjoyed the creative control

The reception went fantastic!  The guests had a great time and I even offered Scott a job if he’s ever interested (he did the best Groom thank you / introduction of his own bridal party that I’ve ever seen, I wish I would have taped it!).  Check out the photos and video, I truly enjoyed being their DJ / Master of Ceremonies and it’s always a joy to work with the staff at the Admirals Inn.  I also had the opportunity to work with Donna from Everlasting Memories Photography, very nice to work with and extremely professional!

In case I haven’t said it lately, I love my job! I get to work with wonderful couples on one of the best days of their lives. Curtis and Ashley Gillilan allowed me the honor of entertaining them and their guests on February 20, 2010 for their wedding reception. They held the reception at their grand parents home and it was beautiful! Once again I got to work with 3 of Highland Counties best wedding vendors. Gini Beth Henderson from Ginibeth’s Weddings and More was the wedding coordinator and she pulled of another amazing event!  Alex Gilliard was their photographer and is always awesome to work with!  Check out his blog of Ashley and Curtis’s wedding (click here).  The catering was done by the caterer from The Palms in Sebring FL.

Incredible couple … amazing ceremony and reception! I got to perform for one of our own DJs here at A Premier Entertainment, Mr. Josh Fain and his lovely bride Kelly. The got married (and held their reception) at Crystal River Church of God in Crystal River Florida. They had about 150 of their closest family and friends there to celebrate with them. It was a magical evening and I was absolutely honored to be a part of it! The gym area of the church was decorated whimsically with Christmas lights, the food was delicious, and the guests had a wonderful time hamming it up for the photobooth (Snap Yourself Silly Photobooths – 863-324-7333).  When we got to the dancing, it was off the chain!!!  Josh was the perfect groom, on the dance floor and leading the party.  I had so much fun, it was such a blast!

- 1st Dance to Michael Buble’s “Thats All”
- Parents Dances: Kelly with her dad to Darius Ruckers “It won’t be like this for long” and Josh with his mom to “Because You Love Me”

A Premier Entertainment was well represented at Sarah and Aaron Whitaker’s wedding reception as myself, DJ Kyle Davis, and my wife Christina had the pleasure of working with this great couple and their family.  We not only got to provide the entertainment for the reception, we also brought a small light show and our newest, coolest enhancement … Oh Snap! Photobooths.  We had such a great time performing for them at the Quality Inn Conference Center in Sebring, FL.  The night was magical, love was in the air (not to mention snowflakes … in Florida)!!!  Not many people can say they got married in Florida while it was snowing, lol.  To see all the fun we had, check out the photos and video below.  Also be on the lookout for my next blog which is all about their photo booth experience!  Remember to leave some love on the bottom of the page and as always … enjoy! I had the pleasure of doing the very 1st event at Sun N Lakes new facility in Sebring FL.  The new place is beautiful!!!   Our company has worked with Sun N Lake for the last few years doing their membership events, but this was the 1st time that I personally got to perform for them.  Megan and her staff are tremendous to work with!!!  Everything and anything I needed they were there to take care of, just a wonderful experience.  The members are an absolute joy to perform for.  I received lots of great requests and they danced to everything.  In fact I had a full dance floor before dinner was even served.  Just a terrific evening and a perfect way for a Disc Jockey to ring in the New Year.  If this is any indication on how 2010 is going to be, it’s going to be an amazing year!  Thank you Sun N Lake, hope to see you all again really soon

This was my 1st time working with Centerstate Bank (in fact this was the 1st time that they had a DJ for their Christmas Party) and I have to say that I had so much fun with this group, I can’t wait to be asked back next year!  They held their party at Lake Region Yacht and Country Club (one of Polk Counties best kept secrets for having any type of party) and they did it up right!  Their buffet looked amazing with a Prime Rib carving station to boot!  For desert they had a make your own strawberry short cake station, delicous!

As for the party, we hit the ground running!  My dance floor was packed almost the entire night, it was fantastic!  There was an awards ceremony in the middle of dancing and even when that was over we picked up right where we left off, with a packed floor!  One of the branches even had their own dance to Stayin’ Alive (you got to watch the video to see how cool that was).  This was such a great group and the perfect way to end my events for 2009!

This was my second time working with the Lakeland Cancer Center (our company has been doing their Christmas party for the last 5 years).  These are such great and caring people, it is truly a privledge to work with them for a celebration.  This year they held their party at the Hilton Garden Inn in South Lakeland on December 12, 2009.  The facility if beautiful and the staff it top notch!  Everything looked perfect (and the food was mmm mmmm good, lol).

As for my set up, they got a great package, we had video and lighting and it definitely enhanced the atmosphere.  All of the photos I was taking at the party went right up to our screen and we played some music videos for the more popular dance songs.  The light show covered the entire room and added to the festivities.  Some of the dancing highlights were the YMCA, the Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Ain’t Too Proud to Beg (4 of the Drs. came up and did their best Motown group impression).  Great time with an awesome group of people.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get to work with them again next year.

I was at the Admirals Inn in Winter Haven on December 11, 2009 to perform for the staff at Dundee Elementary School’s Christmas party.  This is a client that we have had the pleasure of working with for the last 3 years (my 1st time, Arnoldo was their DJ the previous 2 years).  This was a small group (less then 50 people), but they were lots of fun!  We did several of the fun participation dances like; Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle and they all went over great!  It’s always great to get to work with the staff at Admirals Inn as well, they do such a great job!
