DJ in Lakeland FL - Disc Jockey for Christmas Party at Hilton Gardens Inn Lakeland FL
This was my second time working with the Lakeland Cancer Center (our company has been doing their Christmas party for the last 5 years). These are such great and caring people, it is truly a privledge to work with them for a celebration. This year they held their party at the Hilton Garden Inn in South Lakeland on December 12, 2009. The facility if beautiful and the staff it top notch! Everything looked perfect (and the food was mmm mmmm good, lol).
As for my set up, they got a great package, we had video and lighting and it definitely enhanced the atmosphere. All of the photos I was taking at the party went right up to our screen and we played some music videos for the more popular dance songs. The light show covered the entire room and added to the festivities. Some of the dancing highlights were the YMCA, the Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Ain’t Too Proud to Beg (4 of the Drs. came up and did their best Motown group impression). Great time with an awesome group of people. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get to work with them again next year.

Your blog is awesome. I love the photos. I feel like I was there. I run a DJ Biz near Boston. I am just looking for ideas. I would love to know where you got the truss system. That is what I want !!

Hey Curtis, thanks for your feed back! The truss is the Global Truss Goal post system and I believe you can get it from any number of online vendors. Do a google search for it and I’m sure you’ll find it! Best of luck
