Winter Haven DJ Cypresswoods Wedding Reception Elizabeth and Jeremy Voss 4-25-09 Disc Jockey DJs DJ’s

Wow!  This wedding was so awesome for so many reasons.  Don’t get me wrong, all of the weddings we have done are amazing in one way or another, but Elizabeth and Jeremy’s is definitely one that I won’t ever forget.  I’ve worked at Cypresswoods Golf and Country Club many times in the past (wonderful staff and facility I might add), but with the help of their wedding coordinator Ashly (http://www.olivierevents.com) they transformed the room into something magical (with the help of our uplighting, you need to check out the before and after pictures below).   In fact, this wedding reception broke our record for the most up lights used in at any event (32 up lights in the dinning room and 12 LED up lights in the tent where they had their dance floor).

Everything was 1st class for this wedding from the decor to the other vendors we had the opportunity to work with including:

Videography – Kevin Brewer of Brewer Photography and Video (http://www.brewerphotovideo.com)
Photography – Michael Potthast of Potthast Studios (http://www.potthaststudios.com)
Venue – Cypresswood Golf and Country Club – Bob Schade (http://www.cypresswoodcc.com)

It was also wonderful to work with A Premier Entertainments own Arnoldo Offermann.  I was only the MC for this reception while Arnoldo kept the dance floor packed.  Also all of the light shows you will see in the video from our LED uplights were programed by run by Arnoldo, he is da bomb!

Some of the reception highlights:
- 1st Dance to Then by Brad Paisley
- Elizabeth and her dad danced to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw
- Jeremy and his mom dance to The Wedding Coat (can’t remember the artist … inside joke, lol)
- Grand Entrance for Bridal Party to Sirus by Alan Parson’s Project, Elizabeth and Jeremy to Florida Gators Fight Song
- Cake Cutting to How Sweet It Is by James Taylor
- Garter removed to Let’s Get It On by Marvin Gaye
- Bridal Party Dance to Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks
- Last Dance to She’s Everything by Brad Paisley

I don’t normally include as my photos as you will see below, but there were so many great personal touches as well as great photo opportunities, I couldn’t help myself.   Please click the more button to see them and the video … Enjoy!

- Stanky Leg
- Donk
- Boom Boom Pow
- Poker Face

Wedding DJ Avon Park Sebring FL DJs DJ’s Disc Jockey Reception Party

Kaylee and her guest working it on the dance floor.

Arnoldo and I got to pair up to be the DJ and Master of Ceremonies for Mason and Kaylee Cobb’s wedding reception at Kaylee’s parents house in Avon Park, FL.  The set up for an outside reception for 400 people.  To accomodate, we brought out the big guns.  4 Bose sticks with subs (over $10,000.00 in audio) and it sounded incredible.  Plenty of sound to cover that many guests outside (and don’t even get me started about how loud it got once we got to dancing, with plenty of headroom).

This reception is another rare case of where I never met the bride or groom until the reception.  We were hired by Gini Beth Henderson their wedding coordinator (http://www.ginibethsweddingsandmore.com) and it was wonderful working with her and her staff.  Ginibeth runs a tight ship and we were actually ahead of schedule all night long.  You can see some of Ginibeth’s handywork in the photos below.  We also got to work with Alex Gilliard, Kaylee and Mason’s photographer (http://www.alexgilliard.com/?p=565) and he was great to work with!  You can see his photos from their wedding by clicking his hyperlink.  Also the cakes were provided by  Cookie Jar from Bartow (beautiful and tasty)!

I did get to do an over the phone consult with Kaylee and Mason and I could tell that this was going to be  fun reception!  They requested lots of great songs for Arnoldo to work with and as usually Arnoldo kept the dance floor packed, check out the photos below to get an idea of how much fun everyone was having.  Some of the highlights from the reception:

- Introduction to Get Ready for this with Michael Buffer intro
- First dance to I Cross My Heart
- Parents Dances to I Loved Her 1st (Kaylee and her dad) and My Wish (Mason and his mom)
- Cake Cutting to How Sweet It Is by Marvin Gaye
- Anniversary dance to Remember When

Some of the dance songs that got the best reaction included Copperhead Road, Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide, and Cupid Shuffle (they loved the line dances).  It was a beautiful night and I’m very thankful that we were invited to be a part of their celebration.  Photos and video below, enjoy! Wedding DJ Lakeland FL Sorosis Building Reception Amanda and Christopher Richey 4-2-09

The newly wed's 1st dance ... awwwhh.

I don’t know if I have ever had a more laid back bride and groom the Amanda and Chris Richey. Their wedding reception was uniquely fitting to their style and personalities, and even picking a Thursday night for their date! From the beginning of the process to the end of the reception, I truly enjoyed being involved with this couple and their wedding. I was honored to be their DJ. The ceremony and reception were held at the Sorosis Building in Lakeland FL (ceremony outside with one of their close friends performing live, and the reception inside with your’s truly).

We skipped several of the traditional reception steps (no bouquet and garter for example). Amanda and Chris really wanted a more relaxed, informal party. Lots of drinking, spending time with their closest family and friends, and a little dancing tossed in for good measure. They assembled an all-star team of vendors too. It was an absolute pleasure working with Angela and her team from Sunshine Celebrations (http://sunshinecelebrations.blogspot.com), they were amazing to work with! So many of their beautiful touches can be seen in the photos at the bottom. The cake was decorated by Andrea from Sweet Cakes (http://www.sweetcakesllc.com), and it was amazing! They had Chef Lo (http://cheflo.com) for their caterer, and not only was Chef Lo’s presentation extraordinary, the food was sooooo good! And of course, they had A Premier Entertainment for their DJ (my own personaly favorite DJ company, lol).

Some of the Highlights:
- Grand Introduction to Black Betty by Ram Jam for the Bridal Party and Touch Me by the Doors for Amanda and Chris
- 1st Dance to The Joker by Steve Miller
- Father / Daughter Dance to A Pirate Looks at 40 by Jimmy Buffet
- Mother / Son Dance to Have I Told You Lately by Van Morrison
- Cake Cutting to My Best Friend by Queen
- Last Dance to Should I Stay or Should I Go by the Clash

Check out the photos and video below and remember to leave positive feedback! Enjoy…
