Match made in heaven!

This wedding ceremony and reception was off the chain!  I was invited to be the DJ for Carolyn and Curtis Lewis’s wedding reception at the Sheraton Suites in Tampa Florida.  Carolyn had an incredible vision for her wedding day and it was a treat to be a part of it.   Along with providing the music for ceremony and dance portion of the reception, I also provided the uplighitng and the monogram on the dance floor.  

Once we got to the dancing portion of the afternoon, the dance floor was packed.  Carolyn and Curtis are truly blessed with wonderful family and friends.  This wedding/reception is one that I will never forget.

Emily and Geoff's 1st Dance

DJ Matt Madigan was the talent for Emily and Geoff Gale’s wedding ceremony and reception at Lake Ashton Golf and Country Club in Lake Wales FL.  Emily is Franie’s daughter (Franie is the events coordinator for Lake Ashton, and wonderful person, and a good friend) so this wedding was extra special important to us.   Even though they had to bring the ceremony in doors because of the weather and a brush fire, everything went perfect!  Emily and Geoff were wondeful to work with.  Lake Ashton out did themselves with the decor and food.  After all the formalities, everyone danced the rest of the night away (unfortunately, I had to leave after dinner so I didn’t get any photos for much of the reception).  Click more to view some of the photos (sorry, no video for this one), I’m sure you’ll get the idea of how awesome this wedding was … enjoy! Stealing a moment together on the dance floor.

I was the DJ at Paradise Cove in Orlando for Elizabeth and Toby Norquist’s wedding reception. Elizabeth found us through our website and all of our contact was by email and phone up til the day of the reception, but Elizabeth gave me so much background on the two of them and their tastes I felt extremely comfortable helping them have a truly memorable ceremony and reception.

It was an absolutely beautiful evening (they couldn’t have asked for better weather). Paradise cove is so pretty! If you are wanting a beach reception and you don’t want to travel to the coast, you really need to check this place out. Kahuna Grill (http://www.kahunagrill.net/1598078.html) did the catering and the food was amazing! Their photographer was wonderful to work with (I will post her link if/when she contacts me). Elizabeth did a terrific job picking her vendors.

Some of the highlights of the reception;
-after saying I Do they did their processional to “All You Need Is Love” by the Beatles
-1st Dance song was “Lucky” by Jason Mraz
-Cake Cutting song was “Banana Pancakes” by Jack Johnson
-Elizabeth danced with her dad to “My Girl” by the Temptations

-Soul Train Line to Calibria / Space Jam / C’mon Ride The Train

Elizabeth and Toby were so much fun to work with. I wish them both a life time of love, happiness, and togetherness!

Our packed dance floor

A Premier Entertainment was invited to DJ at Cypresswood’s Golf and Country Club St. Patty’s Day Dance.   Kyle and I were up for the challenge!  The evening started off with dinner that consisted of Irish favorites; Corn Beef and Cabbage, Lamb Stew, and assortment of other goodies.  The decor and dress were very festive as everyone was asked to come dress in green.  The had us draw some tickets for their raffle and gave away some spirits and cold hard cash (all of it green, lol). 

When the dancing started, we played a variety of oldies, ballroom dance music, participation dances, and even some current favorites.  While the amount of guest that attended wasn’t large, this group had heart and wanted to have fun.  It was a wonderful evening and we look forward to being asked back again for their next function.

We (A Premier Entertainment) were the DJ for Tom and Mandy Miller’s wedding reception at the Admirals Inn in Winter Haven, FL this past saturday.  It was great working with Tom and Mandy (very down to earth, fun people)!  Most of the guest came down from Pittsburg and you could tell this was Steeler’s country themed.  The grooms cake was a Steelers Helmet and even the colors were yellow and black.  I was just the DJ for this reception as Matt was the Master Of Ceremonies for the reception. 

Some of the highlights of the evening included; 1st Dance to Phil Colin’s Groovy Kind Of Love, Father’s Dances to You’ve got a Friend by James Taylor and Hero by Mariah Carey, a special request from a 2 year old for the Chicken Dance (approved by Mandy, you can see the little tike in the video, he liked the song, but they couldn’t get him out to dance), and of cource Armand’s toast surprise video from Mr. Arnold Palmer.  All in all, this was a great reception!  Check out the photos and video below.

A Premier Entertainment DJ DJs DJs and KC Enterprises Photography Photographers for Wedding and Reception.

We truly enjoyed meeting so many wonderful brides at the PC Bridal Exhibit and Market Place on March 1st, 2009.  I took a couple photos and some video from the show.  I was told there were over 300 brides in attendance.  Our company provided the stage lighting, the sound for the stage, sound for the seminar room, and the monogram that was above the seminar room.

Also, I got the opportunity to share with my very own seminar … Tips to an Awesome Reception.  All in all, it was a wonderful day.  I look forward to meeting with many of the brides that signed up for a consult at our booth.  Enjoy the photos (Check back for a video soon)!

Wow, we just got back from Zach Faulk’s Bar Mitzvah and it was awesome!  This is the second Bar Mitzvah we have done for the Faulk family (I did Clayton’s 3 years ago) and they are a wonderful family that I’ve really enjoyed working with (it’s a shame there aren’t any more siblings).  We did some really special touches for Zach’s celebration, including a customized Jeapordy style gameshow, dance floor lighting, and lots of hi-energy games and dancing.  The Quoram Hotel was great to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone.  I’ve included some photos I took at the party and a video at the bottom.  Enjoy!

Here are some photos of our newest lighting effect. This fixture is great for any event that wants lots of energy on the dance floor and the location will allow haze. Unbelievable and Amazing is the only way to describe this fixture.  All of these photos were taken inside of my home, so imagine how incredible this will look at a larger location.  I haven’t been this excited about a lighting fixture ever! Packed dance floor all night long!

This is the 3rd year that I’ve been asked to DJ (my company A Premier Entertainment) the Lake Ashton Men’s Member Tournament (all though I only say in the video that I was last years DJ).  This evening was very similar to the past three; great food (Lake Ashton is an awesome location for any type of celebration or function), lots of give-away/prizes, and lots of dancing!

- Could I Have This Dance
- The Cupid Shuffle

I had the pleasure to work with the wonderful people of 1st United Methodist Church of Oviedo on Valentine’s Day.  This was a fund raising dance / auction for the the youth group.  They are using all the money made for there mission trip.  As a Christian 1st and as a DJ this was truly a blessing to be a small part of helping them spread the Gospel.  I look forward to being asked back again next year and to hear of their good works.  Here are some photos from their dance and a quick video at the very bottom.  Enjoy!
